The Ned in all it’s festive Christmas glory played host to Mimi & Will’s winter wedding. Taking place on the winter solstice with the smallest amount of natural light in the year, we arranged a first look moment to make the most of the available light on their day. Cosy celebrations at The Ned followed a ceremony just a few moments walk away at the beautiful Christopher Wren church St-Vedast-Alias-Foster.
Bridal beautyMimi’s look featured a bespoke design in natural materials by London-based designer The Own Studio. She paired this with Jimmy Choo shoes, Sophie Breitmeyer earrings and her late Grandmother’s antique pearl necklace. A blue dress by Nina Ricci was chosen for Mimi to wear at the reception later that day. The groom, Will, opted for a classic Kent & Haste suit.
The ceremony was held at the ancient Christopher Wren designed St-Vedast-Alias-Foster.

Post ceremony, the couple headed back to the city in a traditional London taxi and guests walked the short distance back to The Ned. for cocktails and canapés.
Tables were cosy and styling leant into the festive time of year with guests enjoying crackers at the table and sharing family style British comfort food.

Mimi and Will opened the evening by cutting a giant tiramisu made especially for them by the team at The Ned. Live music followed with Mimi changing into a baby blue Nina Ricci dress to dance the night away.
